SB 172 (Florida Drug and Cosmetic Act), is sitting on Governor DeSantis’ desk, awaiting his signature. This bad bill repeals Key West’s reef protection sunscreen ordinance and prohibits all local governments in Florida from regulating chemicals in sunscreen that harm the health and reproduction of coral reefs.
