Thank you to the Lake Worth City Commission for passing a resolution of support for home rule and the local regulation of single-use plastic bags! On June 16th, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation spoke about their volunteer efforts and the impact single-use plastics have on our beaches. Thank you to the Commission and tireless advocates that made this resolution a success!
Up next the Suncoast Chapter will advocate for a resolution of support at the Gulfport Town Council meeting on July 7th!
